Humble Beginnings
"I've been a janitor my whole life"
Owner Kevin Devine first started working in the cleaning industry at the age of 15, helping clean office buildings before and after school. Despite his young age, he didn't expect nor did he receive any special treatment, as he was expected to work just as hard as the full-time employees. Vacuuming, dusting, cleaning toilets and more were all part of his daily routine. As Mr. Devine puts it, he does not just own a cleaning company, he has been a janitor for his entire life.

Starting Clean Investment, inc.
After graduating college from Loyola University, Kevin was not quite sure what he wanted to do next. Already possessing passion and experience in the cleaning industry, he decided that he wanted to start his own janitorial company. At the age of 22, Kevin started Clean Investment, Inc. and secured his first client: James Rouse, an early developer known for helping bring shopping malls to the United States. Continuing to work on the front lines and clean alongside his small staff, Kevin took great pride in his first contract cleaning a four-story, 110,000 square foot office building in Colombia, Maryland.

Expanding our expertise
Hundreds of businesses and new employees later, Clean Investment has grown to be far more than just a janitorial company. With services such as construction cleaning, hospitality services, and more, Clean Investment is trusted by many major companies including Hyatt, Marriott, and more. Even though he no longer has the time to clean himself, Kevin still likes to visit cleaning sites to make sure his employees are not only doing an outstanding job, but that they are taken care of. Hard work, honesty, and attention to detail are all key facets of our company. Creating trust with our clients and treating our employees as family have and always will be paramount.
